To improve clinical and laboratory diagnosis of malaria in both public and private health care facilities a) Provide malaria risk information to clinicians and drug sellers making the diagnosis. b) Provide training for improved clinical diagnosis of malaria (possibly through IMCI). Review laboratory services. a) Proportion of health facilities (both public and private) providing appropriate fever diagnosis and treatment 3. To Manage and treat concurrent infections (Anaemia and acute respiratory tract infections). a) Health Education at - Well Baby Clinics - Prenatal Clinics and other her clinics b) Investigate anaemia in the communities c) Conduct Dewoming exercise. d) Treat and follow-up children. a) Proportion of people with knowledge on the prevention of anaemia b) Percentage of people engaging in deworming exercise c) Number of anaemia cases at partners health facilities Part II-147
